Regina McMorris Peters has a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Spanish from University of Redlands in California, and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Purdue University. She is currently an English Professor at Blinn College in Bryan, Texas where she teaches composition and literature classes. Her poems have appeared in various literary magazines including Gulf Coast and Mid-American Review. 

She lives in Texas with her husband, two sons, and a cat.
